How weird is Las Vegas

So have you been following the O.J. Robbery trial? It's OK, you can admit it.

You know what's weird? It's this whole cosmic circle thing that centers itself around Las Vegas.

First, it starts with O.J. killing his wife and her lover in California in 1994. This, of course, spawned what was later termed "the trial of the century". The presiding judge, Lance Ito, was temporarily cast into fame.

Then (fast forward 13 years) he changes his name and is crowned the 2007 World Series of Poker Main event champ - Jerry Yang....in Las Vegas.

Then, earlier this year, O.J. is once again involved in a crime. This time its robbery of sports memorabilia - the trial is set in Las Vegas. Guess who is the presiding judge over this trial?

None other than accomplished high stakes cash game killer, Todd Brunson.

I'm telling ya. Las Vegas must be the cosmic center of the universe.
